MENTALITY HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE AYVASIL TO BRITISH
SCHOOL (10.12.2006)
Greek
Cypriot daily, POLITIS Yankos Mikellidi in an
article entitled “Greek Cypriots...” explained how
the village of Türkeli took its name by relating to
a recent incident experienced at the British School
in South Cyprus and stated that the Greek Cypriots’
mentality has not changed since then. He said :
“West
Mesarya, 1963 Ay Vasili (Ayvasýl ) Village. Inter-communal
conflicts started. Turks left most of the villages
where they were numerically less then the Greek
Cypriots.
At
sun set, our patriotic Greek Cypriots from Ayvasýl,
Mammari and Astromerit started to intrude into
Turkish houses and collect everything they found.
From one of these house fire was opened. The Greek
Cypriots dynamited the house and 8 to 10 Turkish
Cypriots left the house and came outside. All of
them were killed. There were two Turks amongst them.
The name of one of the Turks was Ömer, I do not
remember the other’s name. They were Ay Vasilli’s
good people. Their grandmother was in another house
nearby with her small grandchildren. As soon she
understood what was going on, she left the house and
hug the dead bodies. Our Hellen Orthodox patriots
killed the grandmother and the little girl too. They
buried them into a mass grave. However, while doing
this they were in a hurry and one of the Turks hand,
who was also buried into this mass grave, was left
outside the grave pointing the sky. That was the
reason why the village is called Türkeli (Turkish
hand) today.
None
of these psychopath murderers was put into prison.
None of them were taken in front of the
international court of Lahey, neither their leaders,
who gave them these orders. I wonder who was
teaching the Greek Cypriot villagers living in the
region to kill the Turkish villagers?
Who
turned these people into animals and fascists
believing to the superiority of Hellen race and
Orthodox religion? Naturally, the Orthodox Christian
Church of Cyprus and the Head of the Church, III.
Makarios. The establishment of EOKA and its
political organization PEKA, secondary schools and a
press controlled by Archbishop Makarios through
money.
Most
of these murderers, who are aged now, live amongst
us as ‘prestigious’ peoples. Their leader is also
living and is governing the Cyprus like in those
days. These people are Tasos, his group and the
young national fascists who are the children of
these murderers.
November 2006, Nicosia. The masked pupils, who are
the grandchildren of 60s masked people, attacked
their Turkish friends at British School, known as
the Oxford of Cyprus. This school is the school of
elite Greek Cypriots. Think of that school, it is a
place, where every Cypriot dream to be and where the
newly rich Cypriots’ children are studying. It is
the school, where Cypriots are competing to enter.
They attacked the Turkish Cypriot students by
claiming that they denied the mystic and holy
meaning of the Cross. They used the Cross not as a
symbol of love but as a symbol of hatred,
nationalism and murder. The children of murderers of
1963s, with the same leaders, the Orthodox Church,
Tassos and his group; did exactly the same thing.
They attacked the dirty Turks in order to understand
the meaning of being a Hellen Orthodox Greek Cypriot.
Later the same events, which was experienced in Ay
Vasili in 1963 were repeated. Two-faced nonsense and
stupid events. Nonsense statements by the President.
Nothing will happen today. As nobody was punished in
1963 , nobody will be punished today. In one of my
interviews, I said most of the Cypriots are dirty,
most people protested. Unfortunately they are not
right . We are dirty. We do not take lessons from
our experiences and we do not broaden our horizons.
We, including our leadership and the pupils in the
British School tend to act like the ones in 1963.
Not all of us but most of us are dirty!!!
Same
daily (Politis) published an article written by the
Director of the Greek Cypriot Intercollage Research
Center Andreas Theofanus entitled, “Can Turkish
Cypriots and Greek Cypriots Live Together?”. The
article said that the solution of the Cyprus issue
would include lots of benefits for the Turkish
Cypriots but the main argument was that up to what
extent the Greek Cypriots would accept these
privileges and benefits for Turkish Cypriots.
