CONFESSIONS FROM HASIKOS
"I USED TO PRODUCE NUMBERS OF TURKISH TROOPS WHO SUPPOSEDLY
CAME TO THE ISLAND"
Former Greek Cypriot Defence Minister Sokrotis Hasikos (DISI
Deputy Chairman) confessed to producing numbers regarding the number of
Turkish troops stationed on the island during a speech made in the European
Parliament on 9 November 2005.
In an interview with Hasikos, the German researchers said
that Hasikos had confessed there was no Turkish threat and in order to
strengthen Greek Cypriot policies he had produced numbers regarding the number
of Turkish troops who were supposedly stationed in Cyprus.
