GREEK CYPRIOTS ATTACK TURKISH CYPRIOT

The Greek Cypriot daily 'Politis' reported
that last Thursday (28 September) while driving near Tseri Street in South
Nicosia the car of a 62 year old Turkish Cypriot car was attacked by 3 Greek
Cypriot youths.
The daily reported that the 3 Greek Cypriots
got in front of the Turkish Cypriot's car and after the Turkish Cypriot driver
stopped they started kicking and punching at the doors of the car. They later
fled from the scene of the incident.
Indicating that 100 Cyprus Pounds worth of
damage was caused to the car, the daily stated that after the incident the
Turkish Cypriot went to complain to Greek Cypriot police and gave them his
attackers car number plate.
