“IT IS AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS TO LEAVE OSMAN SARPER AT THE PRISON WITHOUT
NECESSARY MEDICAL TREATMENT”

Cypriot Doctors Union reacted and criticized the fact that the Turkish
Cypriot architect Osman Sarper, who was arrested by the Greek Cypriot police
at the Metehan check point was left without medical treatment at the prison.
The Head of
the Union in a statement issues stated that through his union member’s
report, it was confirmed that Osman Sarper needed an urgent and correct
medical treatment. However, in spite of this, he was left without medical
treatment in the prison and that this was against to basic human rights and
to patient rights. “We make a complain about this violation by the
Greek Cypriot administration to the UN and the international organizations.”
