COASTAL RADARS TO BE INSTALLED IN SOUTH CYPRUS NEXT MONTH
The Greek Cypriot daily ‘Haravgi’ reported that coastal
radars purchased from Israel and which will be installed along the whole of
South Cyprus’ coastline, would arrive in South Cyprus next month.
The daily reported that five radars have been purchased and
would be installed in Zigi (Terazi), Limassol, Ayia Napa, Polihrisoho (Poli)
and police air unit plants and that for trial purposes one of the radars would
be installed in Pissuri. The remaining four radars will be brought to the
island in two shipments.
