PAPADOPOULOS
STILL ON AMERICAN BLACKLIST (30. 08. 02)
According
to the Greek Cypriot periodical “Kypros Simera”, Papadopoulos is still on
American blacklist.
It
was reported that since January 1, 1995, the law office of Tassos Papadopoulos,
the DIKO leader, and lawyer Pambos Ioannides have been labelled by the US as
“undesirable entities” and remain blacklisted. The action was taken by the
department responsible for overseeing foreign companies, banks and
individuals.
The
paper pointed out that the reason is the alleged involvement of Papadopoulos
and his law firm with companies of Slobadan Milosevic.
