DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND FOREIGN MINISTER AVCI LEAVES FOR SYRIA

 

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Turgay Avcý  went to Syria in order to  held contacts  with the Syrian authorities and to join   the  TRNC delegation  which is  in Syria for participating in a workshop.

 

Foreign Minister Avcý  today  met with various high level officials in Syria. Following his contacts  Avcý met with the  delegation consisting of Tourism Agents and Hoteliers  in Palmera  and received information on their contacts.

 

TRNC Tourism Representatives’ Syria Promotion Tour Continues

 

Meanwhile the representatives of the tourism sector who are in Syria with the aim of improving tourism relations between the TRNC and Syria  yesterday met with Syrian Tourism agencies representatives in Halep which is the second biggest  economic city of Syria.

 

In the second workshop which took place at Palace Mirage  Hotel in Halep  the Turkish Cypriot and Syrian  tourism representatives   promoted their countries and discussed the business opportunities and  potential.
